On a conjectured q-congruence of Guo and Zeng

Suppose that [Formula: see text] is an odd prime and [Formula: see text] is a positive integer with [Formula: see text]. Then for any integer [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text] where [Formula: see text] is the least non-negative remainder of [Formula: see text] modulo [Formula: see text]. This confirms a conjecture of Guo and Zeng.
