Wind resistance is a critical issue in the development of low-altitude aircraft, directly affecting their operational safety. Ground-based safety testing is a key foundational step in validating wind-resistant designs and addressing this challenge. This paper proposes a research approach that combines scaled wind tunnel flight testing with wind field simulation technology to achieve wind resistance performance validation of aircraft in a wind tunnel environment. It systematically introduces three testing techniques—wind tunnel free-flight, virtual flight, and wind field simulation—and analyzes their application prospects in the development of low-altitude aircraft. The results indicate that current wind tunnel wind resistance testing technology has established a foundational capability. By comprehensively designing test programs, a rapid experimental validation method for studying the wind resistance performance of Low Altitude Aircraft can be established. This approach provides optimization insights for early-stage configuration and control system design, and serves as a comprehensive tool for evaluating the wind resistance characteristics of prototypes.
