Intelligent Reflecting Surfaces (IRS) enhance wireless communication security by dynamically adjusting channel properties through destructive interference at eavesdropping points, improving physical layer security. paper proposes an IRS sparse design scheme using a simplified clouded leopard algorithm to optimize reflective unit placement. Compared to existing methods, the sparse configuration achieves higher security rates under identical array size and power constraints. To address multi-objective optimization challenges, a penalty-based fitness function is designed, converting the problem into a constrained single-objective framework. This approach effectively balances security performance and resource efficiency.
