Amidst accelerating global urbanization, climate change, and public health crises, traditional car-oriented urban planning is facing profound reconsideration. The "15-minute city circle," a human-centric model enhancing quality of life and resilience, has gained widespread global attention. This study systematically reviews its theoretical framework, conducts a visual analysis using CiteSpace, examines its progress empowered by spatial models, AI, and big data, and compares cases like Melbourne and Paris. Findings show the concept's core is reshaping the "time-space" relationship through high-density, mixed-use, accessible communities to reduce car dependency. However, its practice involves challenges in social equity, technological ethics, and governance. The study concludes by forecasting future trends and policy recommendations to support more sustainable, equitable, and humanistic future cities.
