Gingival fluid can be employed as the fastest and most accurate reflection of pathological changes taking place in the cellular composition, the protein spectrum, and the pH status so this is of interest as a research object. The difference in the outcomes obtained through studying the cytokines level has been attributed to the use of different methods for sampling and storage of fluid samples.
