This article proposes an adaptive feedforward control method based on accelerometer measurement to suppress narrow-band and large-amplitude disturbances beyond the closed-loop bandwidth for line-of-sight (LOS) stabilization. The proposed feedforward controller is designed as a partial compensator in series with a notch filter, which avoids depending on the accurate inverse model of the plant in high frequency. The characteristic frequency of the disturbance is obtained by online identification of the signal acquired by the high-resolution accelerometer, which breaks the limitation of existing adaptive control methods in time consumption. The filter parameter is adaptively adjusted online according to the identified frequency, to realize the adaptive feedforward control of high-frequency disturbances. Simulation and experiment results indicate that the adaptive feedforward control method based on accelerometer measurement enhances the high-frequency disturbance resistance performance of the LOS stabilization system and reduces the dependence on an accurate system model.
