The advent of information and communication technologies (ICTs) has transformed the way governments operate and interact with citizens, giving rise to the concept of e-government. While e-government offers numerous benefits, such as improved service delivery, increased transparency, and enhanced citizen participation, it also introduces new challenges and risks related to the security of information. This paper aims to explore the challenges faced bye-government initiatives in ensuring the security of information.
