Organism.The organism used throughout was Candida flareri, NRRL 245, kindly provided by the North Regional Research Laboratories, Peoria, Ill., U.S.A.It was maintained by fortnightly transfers on Sabouraud medium-agar slopes.Media.The basal medium contained (in 100 ml.):
