Two new species of the genus Hypogastrura Bourlet, H. salairi sp. nov. and H. karkaralensis sp. nov., are described from northeastern Altai and Kazakhstan, respectively. The former species belongs to the monticola‑group and is characterized by coarse dorsal granulation, a long mucro with low lateral lamellae, and minute anal spines. Despite a territorial disunity, this new species is morphologically closest to the Caucasian endemic H. hatiparae, differing from the latter primarily in its pronounced polychaetosis. The second new species, H. karkaralensis sp. nov., belongs to the nivicola‑group and differs from most other Asian representatives of this group in the shape of the ventral region of the dens, which lacks visible granulation. Unlike other similar taxa, this region in H. karkaralensis sp. nov. is narrow and does not form a noticeable swelling. A brief overview of the morphological variability of H. socialis in the Eastern Palaearctic is also given, and some comments on the taxonomic status of related species are made.
