Beyond Instrumentality: New Roles and Professional Literacy of Engineering Counselors in Local Applied Universities amid In-Depth Integration of Generative AI

生成式AI技术迅猛发展深刻重构高等教育生态,对地方应用型高校工科教育形成结构性冲击,工科辅导员传统角色与素养面临适配危机。立足池州学院工科专业实践,本文剖析AI时代辅导员工作现实挑战,提出辅导员应从“工具使用者”向“生态构建者”转型,明确五大核心角色,并构建以技术认知、人机协同、伦理研判、终身学习为核心的复合型素养体系。结合地方应用型高校与新工科建设背景,提出五维实践路径,推动辅导员专业化发展,为AI时代工科人才培养提供支撑。The rapid advancement of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) is profoundly reshaping the landscape of higher education, imposing a structural impact on engineering education at local application-oriented universities. Consequently, the conventional roles and competencies of engineering student advisors are facing a critical crisis of adaptation. Drawing on practical experience from engineering programs at Chizhou University, this paper examines the real-world challenges confronting student advisors in the GenAI era. It argues for a necessary role shift from “tool users” to “ecosystem builders,” proposing five core redefined roles for advisors. Furthermore, the study articulates an integrated competency framework centered on technological literacy, human-AI collaboration, ethical judgment, and lifelong learning. Within the context of local application-oriented institutions and emerging engineering education (New Engineering) initiatives, a five-dimensional practical pathway is developed to promote the professional development of engineering advisors, thereby supporting the cultivation of engineering talent in the age of AI.
