Research Advances in the Treatment of Sepsis-Induced Acute Kidney Injury with Traditional Chinese Medicine

脓毒症是指已知或潜在的感染引起宿主体内促炎–抗炎反应平衡失调，机体免疫功能受到抑制，若不加以控制，进一步可导致脓毒性休克、多器官功能障碍甚至死亡的病理过程。而脓毒症急性肾损伤是脓毒症患者最常见的严重并发症之一。近年来，中医药在治疗脓毒症急性肾损伤方面取得了一系列的研究进展。这些研究涵盖了单味中药及其有效提取物、中药复方制剂、中药灌肠等多个方面，本文就中医药对脓毒症急性肾损伤的研究进展进行综述。Sepsis is a pathological process in which a known or potential infection causes an imbalance between pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory responses in the host, leading to suppression of the immune system. If uncontrolled, it can further result in septic shock, multiple organ dysfunction, and even death. Sepsis-induced acute kidney injury is one of the most common severe complications in patients with sepsis. In recent years, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has made significant research progress in the treatment of sepsis-induced acute kidney injury. These studies cover various aspects, including single Chinese medicinal herbs and their active extracts, Chinese herbal formulations, and Chinese herbal enemas. This review summarizes the research progress of TCM in the treatment of sepsis-induced acute kidney injury.
