Simulation of a transformed folded waveguide slow wave structure for D-band traveling wave tube

As Terahertz communication technology developed, the research for D-band folded waveguide Traveling Wave Tube (FWTWT) has become increasingly important. A transformed folded waveguide slow wave structure (TFWSWS) in the D-band is designed. By the optimized design, the beam-wave interaction simulation is calculated in beam voltage 22.7kV and current 60mA. The maximal output power is improved to 48W in center frequency 154GHz. In the range of $142 \mathrm{GHz} \sim 164 \mathrm{GHz}$, the output power is above 20W. The -3dB bandwidth is 22GHz. The hot-test experiment will be done in next step.
