Cotalpa subcribrata Wickham 1905 in Colorado (Scarabaeidae: Rutelinae) (Fig. 54–56) In his revision, Saylor (1940) reported this species from Kansas only. Young (2002) described its distribution as “Central Kansas (Sand Hills State Park) to Cimarron County, Oklahoma (North Canadian River).” In my catalogue of literature records of Colorado Scarabaeoidea (Krell 2010), I missed Hardy’s (1991) listing of this species from Colorado. No locality was given by Hardy. I am unaware of any further published records of this species beyond Hardy’s single state record, but its occurrence in eastern Colorado was expected as it was found in Keith County, Nebraska (Ratcliffe and Paulsen 2008), which borders Sedgwick County, Colorado.
