The aim of this database is to comprehensively understand global variation in mangrove soil greenhouse gas (GHG) fluxes. This dataset contains 656, 980, and 238 GHG measurements across 300, 289, and 114 globally-distributed sites, of CO2, CH4, and N2O soil fluxes respectively. These data were collated through a comprehensive literature review and unpublished data acquired from an international collaboration of scientists. The aim of assembling this dataset was to quantify broad-scale patterns of mangrove soil GHG fluxes both globally and across different geomorphologies, and examine whether geospatially-derived environmental variables can be used to predict and map mangrove soil GHG fluxes at the global-scale.Please refer to the README_Workflow_full.html file for instructions on which .rmd scripts go with each section of the manuscript and subsequent analyses. Each .rmd file has detailed instructions on the required inputs. The README_Uncertainty_Propagation.html should be viewed if reproducing the uncertainty propagation workflow (Mangrove_GHG_Uncertainty_Propagation.rmd).
