Aeolian dynamics during the barchan–parabolic dune transition: Field observations and modeling results from the Mu Us dune field, northern China

This dataset includes field observation data and numerical simulation files from a barchan–parabolic transitional dune in the Mu Us Dune Field, northern China, where the Observation folder contains all field measurements including wind flow, sand flux, grain size, and terrain data. The Simulation folder encompasses the Aeolis model code alongside the sim_configuration&results&analysis files, which include the specific model configurations, simulation results, and analysis code, with output .nc files recording variables such as q (sand-flux ), ustar (friction velocity), and zb (surface elevation) at each time step.
