Research on adaptive terminal cooperative guidance algorithm for UAV swarms

This research proposed an adaptive distributed terminal guidance algorithm for UAV swarms to achieve precise simultaneous impact timing despite disparities in initial states. The algorithm integrates adaptive gain-based time error compensation with consensus coordination, enabling rapid convergence of flight time errors under dynamic battle field conditions. An acceleration-to-attitude mapping model ensures seamless integration with practical flight control systems. Comprehensive validation through the self-developed Sigmafree simulation platform demonstrates high-precision synchronization with over 72% improvement in time coordination accuracy compared to traditional distributed cooperative proportional navigation (D-CPN) laws and 91% improvement over conventional PNG methods. The proposed algorithm achieves attack time synchronization with a standard deviation reduced to 0.027 seconds, providing an effective and robust solution for cooperative UAV strike operations in contested environments
