GenusHemicytheruraElofson, 1941 Type species. Hemicytherura cellulosa (Norman, 1865). Remarks. Hemicytherura Elofson, 1941 includes shallower Arctic shelf (Whatley and Eynon 1996), as well abyssal species (Dewi et al. 2004). We consider Dewi et al. ’ s (2004) abyssal record a downslope contamination. Therefore, in this study, we consider our specimens allochthonous contaminants. A more specific geographical or bathymetric source cannot be determined with the available data (low abundance, lack of species-level identification), and any further attribution would be speculative.
