We present extreme event exposure data for drought and river flood. The dataset contains simulations for a historical period (1850-2014) and a future period (2015-2100), specifically SSP1-2.6, SSP3-7.0 and SSP5-8.5 scenarios with a 0.5°x0.5° resolution. The data was derived from multi-model climate impacts simulations generated in the ISIMIP3b (Frieler et al. 2025) simulation round of the Intersectoral Impact Model Intercomparison Project (ISIMIP, https://www.isimip.org). It is used in Heinicke et al. (2026) to investigate exposure of land vertebrates and ecoregions to projected extreme events.
