Modern temperate European plant leaf wax n-alkane δ2H and δ13C dataset for vegetation-dependent fractionation analysis

This dataset contains modern plant leaf wax n-alkane concentration and compound-specific stable isotope data (δ13C and δ2H) compiled to support vegetation-corrected hydroclimate reconstructions presented in the manuscript: "Central Europe hydroclimate since the Younger Dryas inferred from vegetation-corrected sedimentary plant wax δ2H values" (Santos et al., 2026). The dataset includes site metadata, plant functional type classifications, climate parameters, and isotope measurements used to calculate apparent fractionation factors and vegetation correction models.
