Graphene Aerogel-Based Magnetic Composite Towards Broadband Microwave Absorption

In this paper, the graphene-based aerogels with electromagnetic synergistic effect were prepared by hydrothermal self-assembly and subsequent freeze-drying. The developed composite exhibited an optimal reflection loss of −39.8 dB and an effective absorption bandwidth of 4.2 GHz at an ultralow thickness of 2.9 mm. Furthermore, the effective absorption across the entire 2–18 GHz band could be achieved by tuning the thickness to merely 4.2 mm. This work represented a significant advancement by integrating lightweight properties with the essential capabilities for low-frequency and broadband absorption.
