Ion-Electron Fusion Transparent Film Marine organisms combine sensory networks and bioluminescence to achieve adaptive interaction in complex environments. In their Research Article (DOI: 10.1002/advs.202516816), Geng Yang, Chao Zhang, and co-workers present an ion-electron fusion transparent film with stable conductivity, high optical transmittance, and a broad linear strain-sensing range of up to 300%, attributed to the synergistic effects of ion penetration and microcrack design. When applied to soft robots, this film imparts proprioceptive sensing and underwater visible light communication capabilities, paving the way for fully soft interactive robotic systems.
