Extract We read with great interest the prospective multicentre study by K halaili et al . [1], which for the first time systematically compared the clinical characteristics between paediatric-onset bronchiectasis (POBE) and adult-onset bronchiectasis (AOBE) in 1422 adult patients. This landmark study provides pivotal evidence for identifying the unique disease burden of POBE. Integrating the principles of clinical pharmacy practice and evidence-based medicine, we respectfully offer the following supplementary insights to further enhance the clinical applicability of these findings.
