BACKGROUND: Rheumatic heart disease remains a major cause of maternal morbidity and mortality in low- and middle-income countries. The coexistence of severe mitral stenosis (MS) and antiphospholipid syndrome presents an exceptionally high-risk clinical scenario requiring multidisciplinary management.
