Hierarchical CoMoP/NiCoP heterostructure on nickel foam for efficient electrochemical nitrate-to-ammonia conversion at industrial current densities

Here we construct a CoMoP/NiCoP hierarchical heterostructure on nickel foam as an integral electrode, achieving a remarkable nitrate-to-ammonia faradaic efficiency of 94.9% at −0.4 V ( vs. RHE) and a production rate of 88.6 mg h −1 cm −2 .
