What we can learn from a national tumor pathology registry

In a large, nephrectomy‐based cohort, Black patients with kidney cancer were significantly more likely to be diagnosed with non–clear cell histologic subtypes than non‐Black patients. Future clinical trials seeking to make discoveries in non‐clear cell kidney cancer should be optimized to intentionally recruit this important patient population.
