Expertise-Guided LLM Agent Realizing Autonomous Optical Power Optimization in Field-Deployed Networks

We integrate human expertise into an AI Agent, enabling autonomous, efficient, and reliable optical power optimization in a field-deployed optical network. In field trials, the proposed method achieves optimal QoT with only approximately 4 adjustments on average while maintaining a$>4-d B$Qfactor margin.
