MXene Moiré Superlattices The cover image illustrates the employment of the scanning tunneling microscopy and spectroscopy (STM/STS) to self-assembled Moiré superlattices in Ti3C2Tx MXene. A relative twist between the top atomic layers generates the Moiré pattern. STM/STS visualises how local atomic alignment influences the local density of states by creating discrete electronic states at specific energies due to interlayer coupling. The illustration highlights the promise of Moiré-engineered MXene - an emerging research area at the intersection of twistronics and quantum materials science. More details can be found in the Research Article by Kuanysh Zhussupbekov, Yury Gogotsi, Valeria Nicolos, and co-workers (DOI: 10.1002/advs.202504394).
