A Knowledge-aided Clutter Compensation Method for Spaceborne Bistatic Radar Systems

The non-stationary strong clutter signals received by spaceborne bistatic radar systems significantly impact the moving target detection performance. Common clutter compensation methods suffer from high computational burdens and are highly sensitive to outliers in estimation. To address these issues, this paper proposes a knowledge-aided clutter compensation method for spaceborne bistatic radar systems. In this method, we utilize the priori configuration parameters and antenna parameters of the spaceborne bistatic radar system to perform a priori estimation of the spatiotemporal center of the clutter signal, thereby constructing a compensation matrix to achieve accurate compensation of the clutter spatiotemporal center. The simulation result validates the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method.
