Underwater ghost imaging (UGI) offers inherent anti-scattering advantages over traditional optical imaging methods. However, extant UGI techniques are typically limited to grayscale or RGB imaging of targets, lack effective multidimensional information, and imaging quality remains constrained. In this paper, we investigate the effect of underwater scattering on snapshot spectral-polarization ghost imaging, which reconstructs multidimensional target information. To mitigate the effects of scattering, we develop a descattering reconstruction algorithm based on a global mean neighborhood filtering, and the experimental results demonstrate better reconstruction performance compared to commonly used algorithms. With its ability to recover high-fidelity spectral and polarization information in scattering environments, the proposed method shows promising potential for applications in underwater target detection, environmental monitoring, and marine exploration.
