ABSTRACT This research reported the outstanding composite coating for anti‐corrosion and anti‐wear applications doped with Ti 3 C 2 Tx‐(3‐aminopropyltriethoxysilane, APTES)‐ silicon nitride (Si 3 N 4 ) fortifier, which was prepared via the bridge linking effect of the silane coupling agent APTES between Ti 3 C 2 Tx and Si 3 N 4 particles. Taking advantage of the lubricating property of Ti 3 C 2 Tx, the high hardness of Si 3 N 4 and the coupling effect of APTES, the interfacial strength between the composite filler and resin matrix was enhanced, achieving the integrated multi‐functional properties of lubrication, wear resistance and corrosion prevention for the composite coating. Compared to the epoxy coating sample, adhesion strength, tensile strength and hardness showed obvious improvement, leading to excellent friction performance and anti‐wear property, which were demonstrated through an ultra‐low coefficient of friction (COF) of 0.046 and small wear loss of 18.6 mg (CS‐17 abrasive wheel, 1000 revolutions, load of 9.8 N). Moreover, the composite coating exhibited satisfactory anti‐corrosion capacity, which could be illustrated by the impedance modulus at 0.01 Hz (| Z | 0.01Hz ) remaining at 1.07 × 10 8 Ω cm 2 after the accelerated cyclic electrochemical test (−3.0 V, 30 min) of 6 cycles. The coating reported in this study made use of the advantages of two‐dimensional MXene and zero‐dimensional silicon nitride, and had remarkable breakthroughs in anti‐corrosion and wear pro...
