Visible Light‐Mediated Radical Hydro‐Fluorosulfonylation of Propargylamines

Abstract Presented herein is a straightforward synthesis of γ ‐amino alkenylsulfonyl fluorides from readily available propargylamines. The reaction proceeds through a radical hydro‐fluorosulfonylation of propargylamines under visible light irradiation. Preliminary mechanistic studies demonstrate that the fluorosulfonyl radicals are generated by the single electron transfer event of the electron donor − acceptor (EDA) complex involving FSO 2 Cl, a silver salt, and the propargylamine substrate.
