Cooperative Precoding for Integrated Sensing and Communication in Massive MIMO LEO Satellite-Terrestrial Networks

This paper presents an investigation into the application of integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) technology in massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) low earth orbit (LEO) satellite-terrestrial networks (STNs). We formulate a sum-rate maximization problem subject to constraints on sensing performance and energy consumption. Subsequently, we propose a novel cooperative precoding scheme to balance the trade-off between communication and sensing performance. Simulation results demonstrate that our cooperative precoding scheme successfully balances communication and sensing performance, thereby improving the overall system performance.
