Research on Business Decision Support System Based on Big Data and Artificial Intelligence

This paper proposes a business decision support system based on big data and artificial intelligence, aiming to solve the challenges of multi-source heterogeneous data processing and intelligent decision-making faced by enterprises in the process of digital transformation. The system adopts a layered architecture, including data layer, computing layer, analysis layer and application layer, realizing the full process transformation from raw data to decision insights. In terms of core technology, this study proposes a hybrid prediction model that integrates LSTM and XGBoost, effectively integrating time series features and static features through a gated fusion mechanism; constructs a business knowledge graph to enhance the interpretability of the model and improve decision transparency; designs an automated data preprocessing process to improve the efficiency of feature engineering. Experimental results show that the proposed system reduces the error by 23.5% in sales forecasting tasks compared with traditional methods, risk assessment can warn high-risk business scenarios 2-4 weeks in advance, personalized recommendations increase click-through rate by 15.2% and conversion rate by 22.5%, and inventory optimization reduces holding costs by 12.6%. These achievements verify the application value of the system in actual business environments and provide effective support for digital decision-making of enterprises.
