Abstract Smart electrochromic devices (ECDs), with their dynamic optical modulation capabilities, rich color palette, low energy consumption, and flexibility, show great application prospects in the field of wearable devices. This review discusses the latest research progress of smart ECDs for wearable devices in recent years, and systematically outlines the latest developments in the integration of smart ECDs into four major categories of wearable devices: glasses, textiles, watches and wristbands, and sensors. It focuses on the integration strategies, performance characteristics, and functions (such as displays, dimmers, temperature management, personalized decoration, and energy saving) within various wearable scenarios. The current scientific challenges are summarized, along with forward‐looking perspectives and proposed future research directions. The review emphasizes potential breakthroughs and innovations that may drive the development of next‐generation multifunctional EC technologies, promoting the practical application of smart ECDs in wearable electronics.
