The manipulation of structure stability in high‐capacity manganese sulfide (MnS), which undergoes serious volumetric change during discharge and charge processes, is crucial precondition for enhancing their cycling performance. Herein, a unique hydrangea‐like heterostructure with MnS nanoparticles (NPs) embedding and heteroatom (N, S) codoping (MnS@NSC) is successfully synthesized and explored as the anode material for lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs). The resultant MnS@NSC heterostructure, consisting of encapsulated MnS NPs and porous carbon framework, is endowed with outstanding conductivity, high activity, and alleviated volume expansion. When used as anode for LIBs, the MnS@NSC‐6 electrode delivers a high reversible specific capacity of 1042 mAh g −1 at 0.1 A g −1 after 100 cycles, excellent rate capability, and outstanding long‐term cycling stability (657 mAh g −1 at 2 A g −1 after 1000 cycles), displaying a hopeful practical application of the MnS‐based electrode. This work offers an effective strategy for the rational design of MnS materials with high capacity and superior structure stability.
