OBJECTIVES: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: To assess the beneficial and harmful effects of sorafenib, with or without co-interventions, versus placebo, no intervention, or the same co-interventions for adults, aged 18 and over, with hepatocellular carcinoma.
