Benzannulation of furan: a strategy for stable and high-performance furan-containing giant electron acceptor with efficiency exceeding 20%

Herein, we present a benzannulation strategy to enhance the stability of furan-based acceptors, with the resulting giant acceptor BQx-O achieving promising power conversion efficiencies of 18.6% in binary and 20.11% in ternary organic solar cells.
