The use of modern chemotherapies substantially improves survival of early breast cancer patients. However associated side effects have a significant impact on quality of life (QoL). Chemotherapy-induced alopecia is one of the most common and distressing side effect. The aim of our study was to evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of scalp cooling medical device during (neo)adjuvant chemotherapy in women with breast cancer.
