Low-temperature fuel cells using proton-conducting silicate solid electrolyte

A proton-conducting silicate solid electrolyte exhibiting excellent hydrogen barrier properties and mechanical flexibility was developed, and a fuel cell incorporating this electrolyte demonstrated a peak power density of 250 mW cm −2 at 90 °C.
