Research on User-Friendly Design of Digital Banking Software Interface in China

In order to clarify the current situation of age-friendly design in digital banking software interface in China, desk research and autobiographical ethnography methods were used to investigate the elderly-friendly design of mobile and online banking software interfaces. This paper identifies issues in the user-friendly design of digital banking interfaces through research and analysis on the aspects of interface perceptibility, operability and understandability. The author proposes suggestions for the elderly-friendly design of digital banking from the macro, miso, and micro levels, including policy guidance, industry responsibility and design implementation. The study aims to explore the guidelines for elderly-friendly design of digital banking software interface, which can address the pain points in the financial behavior of silver-haired users and bridge the digital divide.
