Coordination-driven assembly of a ferrocene-functionalized lead iodide framework with enhanced stability and charge transfer for photocatalytic CO 2 -to-CH 3 OH conversion

Photocatalytic conversion of CO 2 to CH 3 OH is achieved using a lead iodide framework. The π-conjugated coordination linkage between the ferrocene ligand and the lead iodide chains enhances structural stability and promotes charge separation.
