Synthesis of a novel broadband near-infrared fluoride phosphor with nearly 100% internal quantum efficiency using a cationic substitution strategy

A NIR phosphor Cs 2 KSc 0.83 Ga 0.1 F 6 :0.07Cr 3+ with almost 100% internal quantum efficiency and luminescence thermal stability was synthesized using a cationic substitution strategy. The NIR pc-LED device exhibited an ultra-high photoelectric efficiency.
