Operando X-ray absorption spectroscopic flow cell for electrochemical CO 2 reduction: new insight into the role of copper species

We report a novel operando X-ray absorption spectroscopic (XAS) flow cell that enables to probe Cu-GDE thoroughly from surface to bulk during electrochemical CO 2 reduction, providing information on copper oxidation and coordination states.
