An inorganic intergrowth bulk heterojunction (IIBH) NiO(Ti)/Ti 3 O 5 (Ni,Ga) has photo-induced oxygen vacancy regeneration mechanism. The photogenerated electron transfer process between the Ni 2+ /Ni 3+ and Ti 4+ /Ti 3+ across the interface of the IIBH.
