Nano-sized Silicon Anodes The basic unit of SiC4 tetrahedra in SiCx micro-sized particles plays a key role in the particles' microstructure optimization and electrochemical performance improvement. One of the most important keys is that when the SiC4 unit is enriched on the surface of the particle, the insertion of Li+ to the particles is severely hindered.
