DIPEA-induced Si–H activation of siloxane for hydrosilylation polymerization via metal-free photocatalysis

A visible light-driven metal-free hydrosilylation reaction catalyzed by the photooxidation catalyst 3DPAFIPN and the base DIPEA was reported. Mechanistic studies revealed that the reaction is a free radical reaction and thermodynamically feasible.
