Engineering the pore size of interpenetrated metal–organic frameworks for molecular sieving separation of C 2 H 2 /C 2 H 4

Interpenetration-regulated pore size engineering is leveraged to fine-tune pore size in interpenetrated Zn-SDBA-dpe/bpy MOFs that creates a discrepancy in geometric symmetry, thus inducing noticeable differences in C 2 H 2 /C 2 H 4 separation performances.
