Deep ion mass transfer addressing the capacity shrink challenge of aqueous Zn‖MnO 2 batteries during the cathode scaleup

This work shows that the introduction of interstitial carbon into the MnO 2 lattice could reduce the affinity toward SO 4 2− and OH − , thus suppressing the surface coverage of ZHS and improving the Zn||MnO 2 battery performance under large loading mass.
