Load Current Feedforward Fuzzy Adaptive PI Control Strategy for Single-phase Dual Active Bridge

Single-phase Dual Active Bridge (DAB) is widely used in renewable energy systems due to its bidirectional energy flow and simple topology. The Dual Active Bridge (DAB) converter, has a symmetrical structure and commonly used phase shift control to realize bidirectional energy movement, and is suitable for high-power and high-frequency applications. The principle is simple, the control is convenient, and soft switching can be realized. DAB has low energy loss, and high efficiency. However, the existing single-phase DAB has some problems, such as slow dynamic response speed and large current harmonic distortion under nonlinear load. In order to solve these problems, a fuzzy adaptive PI control optimization strategy based on feed-forward load current is proposed in this paper, and a simulation model is established under bilateral double phase-shift modulation to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed control strategy.
