Research on the Retrieving Method of Reflectivity Amplitude of Non-Magnetic Absorbing Materials Based on Genetic Algorithm

In order to conveniently obtain the permittivity of large-sized non-magnetic absorbing materials, a prediction method based on Cole-Cole model and genetic algorithm is proposed in this paper. This method only requires prediction of reflection amplitude information, which can greatly reduce the requirement for S-parameter data. The foam and honeycomb samples are verified in the experiment, respectively, and the prediction error is about 10%, which can meet the needs of rough estimation in the initial stage of microwave absorbing material design.
